Fort Dodge, IA -- Conservative with High Crime Rat

Having lived here all of my life and having been involved with the community in many ways, I would not recommend that anyone move to FD at this time. About 60% of the residential areas have become undesirable, and the remainder are outrageously expensive. There is very little middle ground here between the have's and have not's.
There is a tremendous amount to do here for people who have the funds to afford it. Otherwise, this town doesn't offer much but fear and disappointment.
